Last week we finally got our first trip of the year to Forget-Me-Knot Cottage!
We visited the Otter & Butterfly Sanctuary in Buckfastleigh – otters rescued from zoos, car accidents and many places, all happily being cared for by Tim the keeper who works 7 days a week to care for these lovely animals, what an inspiring guy!
A trip to Totnes, walked the high street and a around the magnificent St Marys church just as the church organist arrived to practice, amazing!
Strolled along the harbour and down the breakwater to the lighthouse, followed by chips at the harbourside whilst listening to mellow sounds of the busker alongside us.
Finally a short drive out to Churston Court Manor House for a cup of tea and admire the 12th century surroundings and then it was time to go home.
